In 'The Bee I Met Yesterday', I share the outcome from a recently developed attachment to bees. I got to know them beyond the cliché of stinging insects one should be afraid of. I aim to inspire others to spend more time in nature, notice its beauty, and understand the vital role bees play in our lives. I explore, investigate, observe and have conversations with beekeepers. I want to understand what the bee sees, hears, and feels...

In my visuals, I get closer with time to the bee, literally, to show our proximity. On the other hand, I zoom out and look at their environment to recognize what they need.

I hope that by showing how bees work, highlighting their personalities, and emphasizing their benefits to the environment, I can evoke empathy and inspire action. By understanding and supporting them, we can contribute to a more balanced and thriving environment for everyone.
