As women we are conscious of the space we enter, we change our behavior, we adapt to those structures. The urban landscape, designed predominantly by men for their needs, reminds us we might not entirely belong, leaving us feeling vulnerable. It feels like whatever behavior we adopt, we will never be able to escape the possible threat. I aim to shed light on this issue by exploring the journey of navigating in those spaces, speaking from my experience as a woman.
